FAQ - General Questions & Answers
When can I expect my custom poster printing order?
Your order can be ready on the same business day. The printing turnaround refers to how long it takes to produce the posters. Turnaround begins once you have paid the uploaded order.
Which material and coating is ideal for posters displayed outdoors?
The 100# Text, 100# Cover, and 14 pt. C2S Cover Stock comes in high gloss UV coating that’s ideal for outdoor displays. High gloss UV is abrasion and marks resistant. It also has the highest shine and adds vibrancy to every color
What are the most popular materials used for posters printing?
The go-to materials for bulk posters are 100 lb. Paper Gloss and 10 pt. Paper Gloss. The 100 lb. is the thickest paper stock available, while the 10 pt. is a lightweight, easy to carry cardstock. Both have a high-reflective finish that is seen from a distance.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes, we do offer custom sizes for bulk posters. Fill out the custom order form and we’ll send you a custom quote based on your choices.
How soon can I expect my posters to arrive?
As soon as you've paid we will have agreed a time for delivery. It's usually the same evening when you've placed your order.
Which of the coatings provide ample protection for my poster design?
- The matte and gloss coatings both provide additional protection. The matte finish is fingerprint resistant while the gloss is best for posters that will be seen from a distance.
- The high gloss UV coating is better for outdoor displays as it is water-resistant & offers the highest shine. UV coating is resistant to writing though.
What is the fastest turnaround for a large format poster order?
As little as two hours depending on the quantity, of course. Sometimes, with little extra payment, we will be able to speed up the turnaround time.
Do you provide free graphic design?
Currently we provide no graphics design service. However, there are times when our clients require us to do a quick job such as adjusting their artwork or even entirely redo the design but in general, we do not do graphic design. It's something we will aim to add later in our service. Please note, we still provide free artwork review to do pre-print check on your artwork.
Can you deliver my order? Is it FREE?
Yes, we can and it's FREE delivery for up to 5 miles radius from our office. Beyond this point, charges will vary depending on the distance. Please get in touch to get a quote.
How do I pay?
We raise invoice using an online tool which sends an electronic invoice via email. In the invoice, you will find details about our bank to which you can make BACS transfer. In some situtaions, clients ask that we provide a Paypal invoice so it's easy for them to use say their credit cards etc.
I found a cheaper price, will you match it?
If it's for same day print and delivery service, No. The simple reason being there are quite a few factors that we take into account when providing you with a quote such as our schedule for that day, available expertise for certain jobs, available delivery service, etc.
What are your file requirements?
All file formats must have a minimum of 300 dpi (dot per inch) resolution. Images designed for the web typically cannot be used for printing as they have a low screen resolution of 72 dpi. We accept the following file formats: .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS, .AI, .PSD, .JPG, .PNG & .PDF. All colour artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) colour mode unless being digitally printed such as vinyl banners. We strongly recommend PDF as it's an easy format to work on especially with printing.
