Binding types
A4 Stapled & Wire Bound Brochures
Spiral binding / Wire binding
The pages are fastened together by a spiral of wire or plastic that coils through a series of holes punched along one side of each page and the front and back covers.
Comb binding / Plastic comb binding
This method uses round plastic spines with 19 rings (for US Letter size) or 21 rings (for A4 size) and a hole puncher that makes rectangular holes. A trasparent front cover is usually provided to add an extra layer of protection.
Staple binding / Saddle Stitching
In this popular book binding method, folded sheets are gathered together one inside the other, and then stapled through the fold line with wire staples. The staples pass through the folded crease from the outside and are clinched between the centre most pages.
Glue binding / Perfect binding
Perfect binding uses a single piece of thick paper or card as a cover which is wrapped around the inside pages. The pages are bound together using hot glue. The cover can be customised by printing your design on it.

The GSM of the paper refers to how many ‘Grams per Square Metre’ there is. Therefore, the higher the GSM, the heavier the paper.
We can bind your A4 prints for you if this is something you’d require, or we can leave them as loose sheets. For the bound option, you can choose between the bind options highlighted further up the page.

How is my price determined?
When you fill in our form to request a quote, we take all of your requirements into consideration to come up with a price for you. You price is determined by a number of factors such as:
- How many pages are there to be printed?
- Is the printing double or single sided?
- Is the print in Black & White or coloured ink?
- Do you require the print to be bound?
We will always contact you with your quote prior to printing, so there are no hidden surprises!
Do you print on coated or un-coated paper and what's the difference?
We’re able to do either! Once you’ve received your quote, we will contact you for your preference if we need to, or alternatively, feel free to contact us.
Coated paper has a coating on it (usually china clay) which gives the paper a smooth finish. This type of paper can be either slossy, silk, or matte, and is perfect for prints such as leaflets or glossy brochures.
Uncoated paper has a bit of a rougher finish as it doesnt have the smooth coating. This is the perfect paper for laser printing/photocopying. This is more commonly used for printing jobs such as letters/letterheads, books or information sheets.
What file-format should I submit?
We accept a range of fole formats including:

What's the difference between the 80 GSM standard and premium paper?
The premium is just a better quality paper. The better the paper quality, the better the print. It’s as simple as that!
How long is turnaround time?
This depends on your needs and the service you order.

By selecting our same day delivery service, your turnaround time will be less than 24 hours. It’s possible that in some cases it may even be as little as 2-3 hours! We will inform you of your estimated delivery time when we have your order, and we will keep you updated.
Can I come into the shop to get my quote or get the work done?
